Posted on Dec. 15, 2010

The PostgreSQL 9.0.1 Reference Manual is now available as a set of four printed books from Network Theory Ltd.

Full details and links to online bookstores where you can buy the books are at http://www.network-theory.co.uk/postgresql9/

Volumes 1A and 1B cover the SQL language and commands, Volume 2 covers client/server programming and Volume 3 covers database administration.

The books are printed in compact paperback format (6"x9") and run to 1,600 pages in total. They retail for $19.95 (14.95 GBP) per volume or less (total RRP for the set $75).

For each volume sold, $1 is donated to the PostgreSQL project by Network Theory Ltd. Over $2,000 has been donated to the PostgreSQL project from the sale of previous editions for PostgreSQL version 8.

All of the money raised from sales of our manuals supports the development of more free software and documentation.

Thanks for your support!
