PGCon Brazil 2009

On October 23–24, hundreds of IT students and professionals will take part in the biggest Latin American event about the world's most powerful open-source database manager system, PostgreSQL.

The event schedule is already confirmed. There will be lectures, tutorials and the well-known Hacker and Lightning Talks. Brazilian PostgreSQL developers Euler Taveira and Francisco Figueiredo Jr, worldwide-known developers such as Bruce Momjian and Magnus Hagander, and Brazilian well-reckognized professionals Fernando Ike, Roberto Mello, Leandro Dutra, among others, will take part in this event.

The latest features of version 8.4, monitoring techniques, security, performance tunning, among other topics, will be discussed during the conference.
