This course conveys the knowledge necessary to perform the duties of a PostgreSQL DBA. In this course you will learn the details of essential PostgreSQL Administration tasks including: the overall PostgreSQL architecture, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, backups, recovery, and moving data.

This course also addresses advanced topics, such as replication to safe guard data, clustering for high availability, partitioning for performance and maintainability, and security for privacy and protection. The course prepares DBAs to manage large, highly available databases and their related security requirements with confidence.

The course focuses on PostgreSQL Community Edition.
